- I am a semi-retired Professor of Sociology and Gerontology, a lesbian feminist activist, Jewish, interested in aging, family studies, politics, current and world events, in a long time relationship (39 yrs.) , married Mina Meyer at the Lesbian and Gay Center in Long Beach Ca. Aug. 24, 2008. I live in Long Beach. Mina and I knew each other when we were kids growing up on same street in Eastside Cleveland suburb.
